It's Just like Rocky...Only There's No Boxing and Adrian Doesn't Love Him.
Shot entirely on a cell phone, the film follows a fictional version of writer/director/star Will Sterling, a similarly out of work, struggling actor trying to impress Hollywood by making a movie on a cell phone about an out of work, struggling actor making a movie on his cell phone.

[Raindance '25] The main character is an unemployed actor who decides to make his own movie about an unemployed actor who decides to make his own movie. This approach, which moves in the comedy with cinematic references, offers an ironic reflection on cinema from the point of view of those who see the Hollywood Sign as an almost unattainable goal, but without losing hope. The film handles the springs of the metanarrative by incorporating it in an increasingly elaborate way, such that the difference between the recording of the fictional film and Will's own personal story becomes blurred.
