Chevy Chase finds life in the country isn't what it's cracked up to be!
Sportswriter Andy Farmer moves with his schoolteacher wife Elizabeth to the country in order to write a novel in relative seclusion. Of course, seclusion is the last thing the Farmers find in the small, eccentric town, where disaster awaits them at every turn.

Funny concept with some fun rural gags. Would have faired better with more townspeople involvement and arch.
very enjoyable and absolutely hilarious great acting score and vibe but theres some inappropriate content and language as a Christian that offended me not recommended for ages under 13
It had potential, and it was Chevy Chase...but it was at the tail end of his peak 1980's funny heights and just sort of missed the mark. Funniest bit in the movie was when he finds out what "lamb fries" are. The rest? Meh.
