This movie has not aged well, and struck me as fairly goofy. James Spader plays a character who VIDEOTAPES women TALKING about SEX. Perhaps this was titillating or scandalous in the Reagan-Bush era, but it just seemed silly watching it now. Because it seemed so focused on the ostensible salaciousness of the material, there was little character development to speak of and I found the whole thing to be tedious.
sometimes you just gotta say "what the hell"
Lots of lies and videotapes, if you get his drift.
I love the exploration of the female mind when it comes to sex, so in that sense I could very much relate to the lead that was doing the interviews. I think one of the interesting things about this movie is that I found the movie very erotic even though it isn't at all sexy. I can't think of another movie that pulled this off (or even attempted it). follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
