In many ways, Boll is his own worst enemy. His films aren't great, but it's his attacks on critics and other film directors that do much to spoil his character and his reputation. Boll isn't a completely bad person, in fact, he comes across as quite a nice guy at times. This was highlighted in the film, alongside the more vitriolic sides of his persona. I, for one, don't rate him highly as a director, but he's not the worst director in the world. There are far worse films than his releases, but he has developed a reputation that is hard for him to shake off. The doc was engaging enough and interesting for fans and haters of the man alike.
