[IFFR '25] Through a story that connects with a real experience, the director creates an interesting study of the family dynamics that are established in the face of dependency processes and the care of members who need special attention. Showing schizophrenia from an approach that avoids psychotic symptoms to focus more on negative symptoms, a certain parallel is established between the different forms of dependency in family environments: the one that Sven has due to his illness, but also the emotional dependency that is perceived in the protagonist. The most interesting thing about the film is its ability to raise questions that connect directly with family relationships with which we can identify.
