*Jennifer Carpenter acting skills* Dramatic turn to the camera with her mouth open in every scene.

A fair remake, but it doesn't better than the original one though. Despite uses the found-footage format, it doesn't feel like as it. The budget for this movie makes it less convincing, it's just another zombie film. You can't feel some empathy for the building's inhabitants like it does happen in the original one. There were some scenes that I liked though but the original movie keeps being better.

Rabies and the dumbest cop that ever lived. This movie manages to be fairly decent in spite of a not great script and an overly shaky camera style. The camera really does get annoying at times.

Incrível como esse remake desnecessário não traz nada de novo do original, o fato dele sequer adaptar a obra pra cultura americana prova como ele existe apenas por existir, além das atuações exageradas, podando a história e mudando elementos chaves da trama, não apela para um final feliz, mas remove a (sempre delicada) questão religiosa.
