If Brendan's acting chops weren't like watching a brick wall try to learn to talk, this could've been acceptable, but the rest of this stiff, forced story just feels so staged and unnatural - combine the two and it's just a chore to get through unfortunately. At least the gun fight in the restaurant was fun and over the top.
