Gritty is an understatment! Film is fine if you like slow pace, dialogue that represents a slow moving journey and a constant 'waiting for something to happen' type vibe. It reminded me of Dead Mans Shoes at times but its not copying it. It has a decent true to life ending rather than an all happy and clapping finale which ruins most films. It's one to watch on your own rather than with people hoping for a social evening with a film. But yeah , I liked it. Enjoyed it even but I can imagine some people not giving it a chance and being bored by it.
