They live among us.
The story follows Chandra, a mysterious, goth-influenced woman who has just moved to Bangalore and begins working night shifts at a café. Across the road from her apartment live Sunny and Venu, two aimless bachelors. Sunny becomes infatuated with Chandra, observing her odd routines, strange visitors, and reclusive nature. Their dynamic changes when Sunny gets a glimpse of Chandra in her act.

I don't understand why people are being disappointed. It was loved when it was in theatres and it deserves all that. The world building, the lore, maybe it takes a little more time but it's important too. It setups up it's characters nicely, the cameos and the future perfectly. They tried to make it look futuristic, the camera angles, lighting, colours, cinematography all intended towards that. I am super impressed by the music, it actually feels futuristic. The action was good, the performances were great, it's a great movie.
A much better watch than any Bollywood big budget movie. Whats there to watch in bollywood anyway other than a toxic industry. The movie does everything right. A progressive plot, an established narrative with scope for future expansion, a grounded special effects, no nonsense item numbers present. Bollywood has so much to learn but their toxic industry don't want to, just mint money.
==India’s First Perfect Superhero Universe in the Making== Didn’t expect it to be this good! The cinematography, VFX, and background music are all top-notch. The story itself is solid — though there’s definitely room for improvement — but what really stands out is how well it sets up the larger cinematic universe. The connections built between characters and events feel natural and promising. Honestly, this could turn out to be India’s first truly well-structured superhero universe in the making. There are already a few superhero franchises in India, but this one feels more cohesive and timeline-accurate. The post-credit and end-credit scenes did their job perfectly — I’m genuinely excited for what’s coming next. The lead character, Chandra, was a spot-on casting choice, and Kalyani looked absolutely stunning on screen. A strong start to what could be an epic universe ahead.
Amazing direction and cinematography. The animation/ illustrative portrions of the movie were breathtaking. And, the way the movie was edited was very engaing and inventive. This is exactly what I would have imagined a superhero film would have been like if it were based on South Indian culture. The way they subtly introduced her vampire nature through the story even before we got to the flash back was brilliant. I could immediately tell what they were hinting at. Unfortunately, while the antagonist was amazing at his role, our two main characters were very visibly out of their depth towards the later half of the movie. They ended up looking very one dimensional and lost, especially after
Sunny got shot
Still, I enjoyed the experience a lot more than I thought I would, and I look forward to seeing chapter 2. Hopefully, the actors will be able to express themselves better as they gain more experience in the roles.
