A slick whodunnit about anthropology students stalked by a masked killer. It plays like a time capsule: brisk, tidy kills, red herrings, a sheriff on the trail. The problem is freshness; it recreates the ’90s groove without evolving it, so you’re left wishing it pushed the formula rather than just wearing it.
