Synopsis
The 2024 Revolution was the fifth annual Revolution professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place on March 3, 2024, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, marking AEW's first PPV to be held in North Carolina. The event hosted the final match in Sting's nearly 40-year career, and was held at the same venue in which he had faced Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Clash of the Champions I in March 1988, which is considered to be the match that established Sting as a top wrestler in the industry. Eleven matches were contested at the event, including two on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. The main event was Sting's retirement match in which he and Darby Allin faced off against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) in a tornado tag team match to for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Yeah, this one was excellent. The card was completely stacked and has a match of the year candidate. The more important part was that it will always be remembered as Sting's final match, which was the most memorable retirement match I can recall. Also, that *spot* off the ladder was absolutely mental. Great event. Possibly my favorite AEW PPV so far! Best Match: Ospreay vs Takeshita Rating: 5/5 (⭐) - 100% - Must See

What a great PPV this was, very good wrestling all around. The "Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita" match was a banger and what else could we have expected. Sting's last match was simply awesome! Can't believe how Sting can put such a good match at this age. AEW gave sting such a proper send off and it brought tears as I grew up watching Sting wrestle. With utmost respect to Sting, this was a perfect show. Thank you AEW.

For Ospreay and Sting/Allin, this gets top marks. And it's strange rating a show so highly yet the world title match weren't all that.

Tony Khan is allergic to using House of Black. This was a decent show though. The right people mostly won. Just not Kingston over Danielson. Not body shaming, just saying Kingston is a wrestler. So naturally he should at least workout and not get ready for a match by eating Hot Pockets. The Sting match and the Ospreay one rule the show.
