[Movistar+] The adaptation of three stories by the American author David James Poissant to Andalusia works surprisingly well, perhaps due to its tone of solitary melancholy. However, the development of the stories can't avoid a certain monotony, and the characters never quite become well-defined enough to give them consistency. There's greater complexity in the first story, which also closes the film, and an appealing surrealism in the alligator story, but the whole feels too languid, and the common theme of loss and absence doesn't quite manage to unite them properly.
