I had a deep connection to this movie because I haven’t spoken to my mom in years so I was rooting for the kids and their anger towards their mother. And my brother too is handicapped and everything made me mad at white folks because I started thinking about the political environment and I believe bigotry is directly the cause of our problems. I thought flying were thoughts of suicide because I know how life can beat you unrelentlessly that you may think of hanging yourself. Lastly, I compare this movie to Precious. I’m not a fan of Mr. Scribner, he’s no Mo'Nique, but in all this was a great watch.
