Now a shattered mind lurking in cyberspace, Jobe plots a return by hijacking a global VR network and rebuilding himself as something far beyond human. As reality starts to glitch, a small group races to stop a digital god who no longer needs a body.

This movie references a lot of movies except Lawnmower Man.
Incredibly cheesy and dumb, _Lawnmower Man 2: Jobe’s War_ is full of bugs. In this reboot of sorts Jobe Smith is rescued from the ruins of the VSI building and is recruited to construct a computer system that will tie all networks into virtual reality, but a group of teenagers stumble onto his plans of cyber-world conquest and attempt to stop him. Matt Frewer is recast as Jobe and gives a more manic and eccentric take on the character. But all the performances are terrible; particularly the child actors. Equally as bad is the writing; which is full of clichés and stereotypes. And then there’s the CGI effects that once again prove to be disappointing. Poorly made and extremely stupid, _Lawnmower Man 2: Jobe’s War_ is an insipid piece of garbage.
Haha, it's like whoever made this sequel fell asleep for most of the first movie... 😆 Surprisingly well production though for what it is, seems like they were trying to make something decent. I love how the kid from the first movie aged just a few years and now they already have a wildly more scientifically advanced dystopian city with trams and cars flying through the air on wires 😆 oh Hollywood
