The movie that made me a Robert Harris fan. Right after seeing this for the first time, I bought the book, which is even better. I've read many of his work since then and am a fan of what I call historical fiction. As so often, the film stays behind the book, especially the revelation is a bit flat. But it's a movie from the 90s and in that context, it's a good movie. Since this was somewhat influential for me, I rated it a little higher. If you like the story I really recommend his books. I haven't been dissapointed by any of them.

Alternative History movie Not my thing

Could have been good. I definitely recommend a good remake of this film or subject matter. What really would have happened if the germans won the second world war....would make a great film...But sadly this is not great.
