[VdR '23] The film explores the sense of belonging and the loss of identity through the long wait of a Sudanese family in Thailand to get recognition as refugees in a third country. But little by little it turns into a self-exploration of the director's own lack of identity with his country, to which he has returned after ten years living abroad, and to which he no longer has the feeling of belonging. It is a film that achieves good moments of intimacy, which shows the tenderness and understanding of a family despite the uncertainty.
