You won't last the night.
On an island off the coast, a techno rave party attracts a diverse group of college coeds and a Coast Guard officer. Soon, they discover that their X-laced escapades are to be interrupted by zombies and monsters that attack them on the ground, from the air, and in the sea, ruled by an evil entity.

I remember when this came out, and I had not seen it since, but I just watched it again for the first time in 20 years, and I still truly enjoy the campy fun this movie was.
I also forgot how much game play the inserted (which I am sure helped them save quite a bit of money), but the way the Actor would spin or aim and shoot, and how it was cut...
Chef's Kiss
With a 2 rating on IMDb and only 4% on Flixster, I was curious to see if it was really that bad. Damn I really need to stop being so curious! While it probably isn't the worst film ever made, it surely is one of the worst zombie ones. I gave this a rating of 2/10. The only reason it has a 2 not a 1 is for Jurgen Prochnow. He has some great comedic moments. Well great for this film! Don't Be Curious!
It was slow in the beginning, but once they actually make it to the Island it starts picking up and getting to the ok stuff. I love the games which I think should tell you that I like bad stuff as much as I like good but honestly this felt like a middle ground for So bad it’s amazing and it’s so good it’s amazing This is a very Uwe Boll movie and I love it
House of the Dead really does stretch the title given to it, this is not the video game adaption you are looking for. What the F***k was with the 10 sec or so house of the dead video game clips spliced into scenes, I re-iterate what the (well you get the idea) It did not do anything, it didn't blend, it shouldn't have been there much like the plot really.
I can't say the movie was a total wash I did enjoy the sequence where there was mindless zombie blasting all the way down to the matrix style mid air weapon kills that part is definitely a guilty pleasure. Although the zombies were being killed pretty easily, the scene goes on for a little bit so you can turn off and enjoy that I guess.

To top it off 'G' Shows up at the end for like 20 seconds with a special forces team, it is clear the director had no clue of the source material. Also the characters have no real emotion to speak of, very early on in particular when the border control offficer blows away a guys girlfriend who has just turned into a zombie, he shows 0 emotion, he doesn't even try to act, he's just there waiting for his next line, like with.
Think that sums it up really a disasterous attempt at a great franchise with some funny moments even if they wern't meant to be funny. Was a nice surprise to see Kira Clavell though.
Everything bad that talking about it, is true and more, you have see it with someone for commented and laughing at the absurdities that come out, for example the jumper
