Upscale neighborhood, down-home heart.
Mild-mannered dirt-poor hill-dweller Jed Clampett strikes it rich when oil is discovered on his property. At cousin Pearl's insistence, he moves his family to Beverly Hills to better enjoy his newfound wealth.

Slapstick comedy derived from the TV series. For fans
Its been about 25 years since I last saw this movie. I forgot that is was a mini- "9 to 5" reunion film. The casting of some of the characters is spot on - Jed, Granny, Mr. Drysdal and Miss Jane. The computer technology, at the time, was like top of the line ("Wait - you have a laptop that doesnt require wires!?!?!") but now - DATED AS TRYING TO FIND A PAY PHONE TO CALL THE PRECINCT FOR HELP!! Definitely one that can be shown for the family.
My favorite movie since childhood
Very rewatchable. Beverly Hillbillies and all the nick at nite crew hold a near and dear place in my heart. This film does the TV show justice.
A great movie to watch with the family especially if you remember the original, great cameos from Dolly Parton and Za Za Gabor..a funny movie, with some surprising stars in the movie....
