Synopsis
Dr. Malcolm Sayer, a shy research physician, uses an experimental drug to "awaken" the catatonic victims of a rare disease. Leonard is the first patient to receive the controversial treatment. His awakening, filled with awe and enthusiasm, proves a rebirth for Sayer too, as the exuberant patient reveals life's simple but unutterably sweet pleasures to the introverted doctor.

Beautiful movie. Fantastic cast. The scene where he's saying he won't see her again and she grabs and forces him to dance. Made me cry a little. Such a lovely beautiful moving moment.

Robert De Niro gives a terrific performance here and Robin Williams is pretty great too. The story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Magnificent film based on a true story with a spectacular main cast and it was even better the second time around and Robert De Niro &robin Williams made a great team!

I didn't have any idea for this true story and it really made me super sad..It was so emotional and the acting from De Niro and Wiliiam was something else. 7.8/10
