The incredible gothic castle feel from The Vampire Doll is almost gone, but Lake of Dracula still has that "Hammer" feel, and the night scenes are very good. It drags on a bit towards the end, but it's still very watchable with its beautiful locations, and atmosphere. An atmosphere that is distinctly Japanese, despite the western influence. This was also very noticeable in The Vampire Doll. I hope it continues with Evil of Dracula, because these have turned out to be great fun.
