[Movistar+] It deconstructs a certain toxic masculinity through a blend of fantasy and reality that, nevertheless, fails to find the necessary balance. Nacho Vigalondo's proposals are always risky and brave, but they don't always manage to come together cohesively towards the end, as is the case with a film that is too aware of its geeky nature, of a narrative deconstruction that perhaps wants to resemble too closely the universes developed by Charlie Kaufman and Michel Gondry. It tries to approach them, but does so from a perspective that is more admiring than absorbing.
