[Filmin] Using the archives of its own estate, the film elaborates on the portrait of Leni Riefenstahl as the Hitler propaganda filmmaker who has always remained a shadow. But rather than being an enlightening film, it ends up being a rather murky look because its perspective has already been chosen from the start. The film exposes the filmmaker's lies and contradictions, but establishing a parallel between her photographs of the Nuba tribe as a reflection of Nazi aesthetics may be a bit forced to validate the documentary's objective.
