Tony Manero knows the old days are over. But nobody's gonna tell him he can't feel that good again.
It's five years later and Tony Manero's Saturday Night Fever is still burning. Now he's strutting toward his biggest challenger yet - making it as a dancer on the Broadway stage.

"Everybody uses everybody!" Tony Manero is striving to break into a Broadway show but it's the 1980s so he's selfish about it. Spinning, twirling, leaping and high kicking... "Where did he learn to do this?" exclaims Tony's mother. Where exactly! This sequel doesn't capture ANY of the spirit and feel of the original Saturday Night Fever... and we only glimpse at the very end, that the disco Tony is still in there.
A ridiculous follow-up, that completely fails to understand what made the first film good, piling one slick dance sequence after another. It's a preposterous dance film that isn't quite as campy as it needs to be to gain cult status like something like Showgirls. But if you want to watch a greased up, half naked Travolta flex and writhe around for a while, this is the picture for you.
