This was a pretty solid gambling movie. It felt a bit monotone and flat for me. The performances are really good. Alec Baldwin played the vileness character to perfection. His character felt so natural. Unfortunately the movie lacked a spark or much suspense. The story was pretty good but just fell a bit flat for me. Things moved along pretty slow and a tad bit boring at parts. I didn’t mind, I actually enjoyed it enough but it’s not something I’ll feel the need to rewatch again. This is a prime example of why I all but stopped blind buys. It was a good movie but nothing I feel the need to purchase.
I wanted to love this movie because I love so many of the actors in it. But alas, the story leaves a lot to be desired. The film ended and I am not sure that I noticed. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
Interesting fable about Lady luck. Baldwin is great in it. I love how it features a romance between a middle aged couple. You don't see that often. I also dug the subplot of the gentrification of Vegas.
