[CPH:DOX '23] Centered on the figure of the indigenous activist Aaju Peter, the film finds it difficult to know where it wants to focus more, whether on the protagonist's struggle for demands or on her personal life, and this unbalances, above all, the last part, when the director seems to want to present a broader perspective that nevertheless feels rushed and somewhat superficial, despite the fact that interesting topics are addressed, such as the progressive invisibility of indigenous problems as if they were issues of the past that have already been resolved. But clarifying arguments are shown about the way in which we Westerners look at indigenous peoples.
