The shooting angles and atmosphere are nice, but overall, it feels more like a documentary than a horror film. The acting is passable, the effects are good, and the script is a bit dull. There were some scenes where I even fast-forwarded through. A solid 5 out of 10 in my opinion. Still, great work.
A movie that relies much more on development and horror sequences than on writing a strong story. The cinematography and make-up are great, they manage to create a tense and mysterious atmosphere, but the story is too simplistic in its structure, there are many repetitions, and at times it tries to insert surrealism and depth, generating expectation, but it ends up delivering practically nothing, so many scenes end up making no sense to be there, lacking good hooks and better continuity, not even the good performances manage to lead the movie to something more solid.
