One of the few movies from the 90's that got the drug addiction part right. While drug use was glorified in many other movies, this one zeroed in on it and it's deadly wake.

This movie is a pretty raw look at how quickly things can spiral out of control. Leonardo DiCaprio gives it a lot of intensity, and the story feels more like a warning than just a typical coming-of-age movie.
