Synopsis
After years of exile, Remo, an orphan, returns to his childhood village in the Balkans. He must help his adoptive cousin, Una, with the exhumation of a mass grave that contains most of their family members buried there during the war. But the bodies reveal family secrets that will make Remo and Una question their past and their future. A film about the possibility of truth in a place that only knows survival.

[Raindance FF '23] The script displays overly cryptic dialogues, which have a poetic cadence that the French actress Luàna Bajrami expresses with special intensity. But the film is especially resounding in its visual concept, a directorial work that shows in careful shots and slow zooms the film an atmosphere of discouragement at the same time that at the same time composes the pieces of Remo's past as if it were a police thriller. Expanding its view towards the loss of one's own identity, it is a complex story that adopts a pessimistic tone, but finds a glimmer of hope in the future.
