A typical spaghetti western, very popular in those years, _Yankee_ is Tinto Brass's only venture into this genre. The plot follows the classic story of the tough bounty hunter who fights ruthless villains. Despite some particularly cinematic elements and acting that is, all things considered, sufficiently decent, the film offers little in the way of inspiration, leaving the viewer neither bored nor surprised.
