Let's play a game that can't be repeated.
Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High's volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the 'Little Giant'. But Hinata soon learns that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles form a surprising weapon, but can their newfound teamwork defeat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated 'Dumpster Battle', the long awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?

I missed these guys! And what a unique experience it is to watch a movie while sitting alone in the cinema. Wish more people in Holland would check this out but anime isn't really this big over here. Anyway I'm so happy most of the focus was on Kenma, a character I adore in the show. The final play was brilliantly animated from his POV. The humor, the action, the soundtrack, it is all there. Now I'm so hyped for the next one to bring the story to an end. However, I still believe I would've enjoyed this much more if it was another season of the anime. More time to flesh things out, more character moments and just more time with our favorite volleyballing youth. Still I am happy this was available to watch here at the cinema. Now it is patiently waiting for the Blue Lock movie and the next Haikyu one.
I think my heart gave out like 5 times... even though I knew the outcome!
Too focus on the other team
