[Raindance FF '23] There is an interesting approach to gender issues, not only due to the ironic representation of rugged masculinity, but also due to the introduction of two motorcyclists who campaign against domestic violence. The peculiar visual aesthetic, and a humor about social structures make the film have a very characteristic idiosyncrasy that is reminiscent of the films of Adilkhan Yerzhanov, but at the same time it offers a more universal view. There is a tone of optimism which adds an emotional character to a simple and elegantly filmed story.
