Aw! It's only one episode.
Let's hope it gets picked up. Nice port to the "now" from the 1960's.
It's a shame this isn't a series, it's a good homage to the Munsters as a whole though there are flaws that make me see why it didn't get picked up. The overt horror aspects are a bit much for what we'd expect from the Munsters though I do like this darker version of grandpa. I especially love how Marilyn, despite still looking unfortunate, doesn't act fully normal due to her upbringing, something that's missing for Eddie as while I can understand his struggles when turning into a werewolf he seems too clueless about what his family is. It's obvious that Lily and Herman would be hard to replace but they just don't work here. Herman's alright, a little bland but that could've been changed later on. Lily has nothing interesting going for her and looks way too normal and different from the og, which affects her worse than the others as they're still recognisable. That being said I'd still love if something like this with a few tweaks was made, the beginning was very good and the 'rival' Addamses have successful modern adaptations so it could be done.
