Enjoyed the anime until the last couple of episodes where they managed to recreate a disastrous GOT level bad ending. Very much worth the watch thou.

Five seasons in and the show is still entertaining as hell. Probably something to do with the shortened episode length. Episodes are all pretty fast paced with action jokes and light romance coming at you fast. He just wants crispy noodles and a peaceful life. Good luck Ling!

This was my first time watching a Chinese anime, and honestly… not a great start. It follows the usual generic anime recipe, but somehow manages to be even more forgettable than average. The protagonist? Absolutely lifeless. No personality, no emotion, no explanation. Just a blank face floating through scenes like he’s allergic to being interesting. It’s honestly impressive how unlikable he is. I couldn’t care less about him, and the show never gives you a reason to try. The background music? Horrible. Every transition is cursed with these painfully bad, out-of-place tunes that made me wish for silence. Some side characters show a glimpse of personality here and there, but they’re not enough to save the show. You might think, “Oh, maybe this one’s cool”—but blink, and they’re gone, back to being shallow and useless.

the show started light and comedic but the last 2 episodes was a punch in the gut. definitely a recommend for casual watching!
