Unternehmer Bob (Billy Gardell) verdient seine Donuts im Socken-Business. Seine ungesunde Lebensweise und eine stressige Familie treiben ihn allerdings in einen Herzinfarkt. Als er dort erwacht fühlt er sich zu seiner Krankenschwester Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) hingezogen, die aus Nigeria eingewandert war. Nach einer schwierigen Anfangsphase lassen sich beide auf das Abenteuer ein.

This show is a typical CBS sitcom at first glance, but the writing is so much better. It's hilarious, irreverent, and risque without being filthy like 2 Broke Girls. The characters are worth caring about and feel genuine.
Another hit from Chuck Lorre, it just keeps getting better and like that they don't use cheap sex jokes! Always enjoy Billy Gardell & Abishola's character played by Folake Olowofoyeku is really enjoyable. Happy to know its continuing :)

I enjoyed watching this series, it is funny, it has characters you end up caring about, the characters have a connection on screen and it doesn't feel forced. They even ended the show decently and not on a cliff hanger. This isn't your stupid sitcom that after an episode or two you can't stand any more because its stupid and makes you feel dumb, this is done a lot better. I did find Christina a bit annoying most the time but loved the Nigerian characters
