The vampires try to find their way in a world of human Super Bowl parties, internet trolls, an energy vampire who gets a promotion and becomes drunk on power and of course, all the ghosts, witches, necromancers, zombies and shadowy cloaked assassins who roam freely in the Tri-State area.
Resurrection
Nadja and Laszlo's new familiar poses problems for an increasingly anxious Guillermo, and the vampires enlist the services of a local necromancer.
Ghosts
The vampires hold a séance to deal with a ghost infestation, which leads to a larger ghost infestation.
Brain Scramblies
The vampires attend their first human Super Bowl party, while Guillermo’s search for virgins uncovers a deadly threat.
The Curse
While the vampires fear they've been electronically cursed, Guillermo tries to thwart a deadly threat to his masters.
Colin's Promotion
Colin Robinson gets promoted at work, and his new power threatens the balance of power in the vampire house.
On the Run
After a vengeful enemy from the past appears without warning, Laszlo flees his home and goes into hiding to avoid certain death.
The Return
The vampires offer shelter to an old nemesis who’s down on his luck.
Collaboration
Nandor's old familiar from the 1970s returns to Staten Island, Guillermo leaves to serve a new master, and Nadja and Lazslo revive their musical act.
Witches
When Nandor and Laszlo are abducted by a coven of witches, the others must venture to Brooklyn to rescue them.
Nouveau Théâtre des Vampires
As they prepare to attend the most exclusive event on the vampiric social calendar, the vampires try to survive without Guillermo.

If you like Matt Berry’s style in this, i strongly urge you to check out Toast of London (in particular) and also The IT Crowd, in which he demonstrates further his own unique brand of outlandish pronounciations.
Biggest problem with the first season was that I wished the show would be nicer to Guillermo so I was real happy when his growth and resistance against being belittled turned out to be the main arc of season 2. Season 2 also just has a lot more goofy episodic one-off things focusing on a single main character that I enjoyed a lot. The Jackie Daytona episode is an all time favorite.
Although the first season had the virtue of using his lack of budget to improve his rebellious sense of humor, this second season improves on the main narrative construction, giving more prominence to characters who were basically secondary, thus broadening the horizon of threads narrative, and it is allowed to dedicate certain episodes to specific characters (Laszlo / Jackie Daytona, Colin Robinson ...). But perhaps the character that gains in complexity is Guillermo, with his contradictions, his doubts, his double life ... You could almost create a spin-off with the development that has been built around him this season. Nandor and Nadja have taken a back seat, but they also star in some brilliant moments. The season also begins a formula that can bear good fruit in the third season, with the participation of some guest stars such as Haley Joel Osment or Mark Hamill.
I really enjoyed season 2. The jokes felt far more varied and the plot does seem to be going somewhere, which is a concern I had. The Jackie Daytona episode has to be my favorite in the show, and I enjoyed more Colin Robinson action that went beyond the single joke of his character. My opinion of the show has gone up quite a bit and I looked forward to each episode in season 2, which I didn't feel early on.
A subtle improvement over the first season which has raised this show in my estimation. I mostly liked the first season but could honestly take it or leave it, yet here I was eager to see the next episode each time one finished. The comedy is more or less on the same level as before, but what really is starting to work here is the storytelling. The season has started to push things in new directions and bring in some central narratives, and it's really helped bring the characters to life more (excuse the pun). Guillermo and Colin Robertson have begun to steal the show, and that's no mean feat when you have Matt Berry as a main cast member. Most of the time I can't honestly single out a favourite character as they all shine when given the spotlight. But I think special mention needs to be given to the Jackie Daytona episode which was just delightfully funny from start to finish (helped also by a great guest star). I'm interested to see if the events of the season end are going to affect the story going forward or if there will be a convenient reset of some sort. If I'm still not completely in love with the show, it's probably because vampire stories are a very hard sell for me and that there's a slightly repetitive nature to things episode to episode. I appreciate that this at least tries to take a unique approach.
