Good show. It had an interesting concept, one I've never seen anything similar to. The comedy was pretty decent but nothing I'd consider really, really funny. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. I'd still say you should at least give the show a shot. For most of you, you'll probably consider it absolutely horrible or not your cup of tea, which is completely fine. That's what I think. Edit, upon watching and finishing the second season: The first season was a nice introduction to the show, but the second season is where it's at. There was more of a budget, though, to be fair, would a show like this need a bigger budget to be better? I don't think that's specifically the case, but the bigger budget did play a part in the greater overall enjoyment in comparison to the first season. It felt like there was more of a story, which contributed to the level of enjoyment as well. I don't know, it just felt better. I'm not very good at writing something out in regards to a show in some cases, and this is one of them, so that's all that comes to mind, so to speak, and came of letting my fingers do their thing rather than thinking of what to write, word by word.
Season 1 was weird, but original and I enjoyed it. Season 2 is..... wtf is this? Seems they want the series to get cancelled. Good that it still gets to a third season, but I hope they really fix their stuff for season 3, because season 2 is simply just not funny and hardly interesting.
I liked the second season far the most. It is like a combination of Disenchantment and Black Adder. Third season was kind of in the middle and the first was worst for me.
It was easily more believable than the Bible or any of those other mankind controlling how-to manuals. The concept that Earth is the brainchild of a less than brilliant god who is the "special" child in a family of very successful gods in the Universe, makes perfect sense if you look at the insanity that is this planet. There was just the right mix of humor and suspense. I will watch season two.
