This is a korean adaption of a japanese series with the same name, Mother. I've watched both and out of the two, I prefer this one. Bo-Young's acting is truly spectacular in this one. The child actor, Yool is doing great job as well. I was pulled in from start to finish. WIthout spoiling anything, they did take some liberties with the plot so it's not identical to the japanese version. I'll gladly recommend this for anyone, who wants a touching drama to watch. (remember a box of tissues if you decide to watch it.)

This show broke me in more ways than I can say. The sheer amount of sacrifice and love this duo had for each other melted me. When I say I cried, I cried, you will cry.

It’s a very emotionally charged TV show. Had some good family moments, it had some crime and psychopaths in it, a drop of romance. I give it a 9/10. Lee Bo-Young is a favourite of mine. I watch any project she is a part of.
