Dadurch, dass Yuzus Mutter erneut geheiratet hat, muss diese nun eine konservative Mädchenschule besuchen, was nicht nur ihre aufmüpfige und modebewusste Art, sondern auch ihr Vorhaben, endlich einen Freund zu finden, deutlich einschränkt. Doch dabei bleibt es nicht, denn bereits am ersten Tag gerät sie ins Visier der Schülerpräsidentin Mei, die mit ihrer kalten und ordentlichen Persönlichkeit den Gegenpol zu Yuzu darstellt. Bald stellt sich jedoch heraus, dass Mei auch noch ihre neue Stiefschwester ist, woran keine der beiden wirklich Gefallen findet. Doch schon bald merkt Yuzu, dass sich hinter Meis Fassade eigentlich noch viel mehr befindet, als es zunächst scheint …

What the hell did I just watch
I should have learned my lesson when I watched similar shows like "A Silent Voice" and "Clannad." I'm getting really tired of feeling empty and sad after watching really great works of art. While this Anime is not similar in it being completely "sad?" it does still hit you where it hurts. One full day later, and a night of rest... I still feel like crap. edit: I'll make a short edit, since I finally finished the final episode. Based on how things are going in the Manga, I doubt there will be a second season... With that being said, I am happy it ended the way it did. I'm heartbroken, and inspired at the same time. Great slice of life anime.
It was a great show both plot and story wise with same old shoujo cliches and a heartwarming ending.
