The character motivations were a bit iffy at certain parts, and I think a lot of times the complexities of entertainment agencies politics flew right over my head. Or maybe it was the fact the people in power were constantly making decisions against the best interests of their artists. The acting probably wouldn't win anyone any awards, but given most of the cast were baby actors when they did this drama (both in terms of age and experience), they did a very good job. Of all the young cast, most of them never did anything again shortly after finishing this (curse much?), but I've seen Lee Hyun Woo, Song Kang and Jang Ki Yong in other, more recent dramas, and all have become terrific actors. Especially SK and JKY. They've become melo pros! And in any case, the cast had very good chemistry together. Both bands interacted like they'd been friends for years, and the lead couple was very cute and sweet (even if the age gap thing and the fact FL was a minor dating an adult, that were such an issue at first, never got addressed or acknowledged again). The writers chose the "love at first sight" trope, went hard for it, and in the end it worked out great, being adorable instead of cringe. I think I ended up liking the songs through the force of sheer repetition, but it was nice how there were variations and slowed down instrumental versions of a lot of them. The two things I think brought this drama down were the unclear, messy story (it really was kind of all over the place) and how much of the audio was pre-recorded. They had talented singers and musicians on set, so they could have filmed them performing live and added a bit of pre-recorded audio on top in post to clean up the sound. Instead, more often than not, they switched from speaking to full-on studio recording while the actors did a shockingly bad job at lip-syncing.

Esto me acaba de confirmar que algo que nunca me esperaba que me sucedería y está sucediendo esta empezando a no gustarme las series escolares…si lo sé es por mi edad el protagonista me encanta… ya me gusto desde to beatifull y la actriz principal al inicio me gustaba por que era directa. Y no se hacia un mundo con los malos entendidos . pero mas adelante su papel es torpe. En serio pareciera que le gustaba jugar a dos puntas por que se deja abrazar es estúpida y su actuación es buena si, pero su rostro no trasmite…. Siempre con el mismo gesto de estar enojada y con sueño no me termina de convencer y por ultimo la historia no es tan emocionante me parece que es repetitiva y aburrida. ヅ
