Nach einem kleinen Herzinfarkt versucht Police-Detective Roger Murtaugh jedem Stress aus dem Weg zu gehen. Sein alter Partner und jetziger Vorgesetzter Captain Brooks Avery befürchtet, dass Murtaugh allmählich in eine Depression abgleitet und wittert eine Chance, den Kollegen „ins Leben zurückzuholen“, als der ehemalige Navy SEAL Detective Martin Riggs zu seiner Einheit kommt. Der hat am Tod seiner Ehefrau und seines Kindes zu knabbern. Avery steckt den geradezu lebensmüden Riggs und den lethargischen Murtaugh zusammen und hofft, dass die beiden ungleichen Cops sich gegenseitig aus ihren Lebenskrisen helfen können.

I honestly didn't think this show was going to be any good....but damn was I proven wrong. Absolutely love the storyline, characters, and dynamics of the show. Seriously folks, do not pass this one up. Super entertaining and funny with plenty of action!

Season 1 and 2 were really enjoyable then riggs got changed to stiffler and it sucked, you cant change the protagonist mid series like that
Perfect cast for the show until Fox had to screw things up. Stifler should have stuck with the types of shows hes good at. We will remember this for Fox.
The first 2 seasons were great, at first I thought it was gonna be a lil cheesy but then again, it kinda brought me back to the 80s 90s over the top stunts, I loved this show and was heartbroken to see them kill off Rigs. Sean William Scott is entertaining but he’s not rigs and the show isn’t leathel weapon without rigs, call it something else entirely. Management should be fired for this one you guys totally blew it. Bad call
