Als der US-Marine Mac Conway (Logan Marshall-Green) 1972 aus Vietnam in seine Heimat Memphis zurückkehrt, muss er feststellen, dass sich dort die Stimmung gewaltig verändert hat. Auf einmal fühlt er sich wie ein Fremder in der Gesellschaft, die ihn mit verächtlichen Blicken straft - ganz zu schweigen von dem mangelnden Respekt, mit dem sie ihm begegnen, hat er doch in Vietnam die Hölle auf Erden erlebt.

Cinemax is getting back in the game. Starting with Banshee few years ago.. but the recent Outcast and now this.. keep it up!
One of the best new shows of the last two years to not get a second season. Just got made at the wrong network at the wrong time.
How on earth can they cancel this? Great show that had everything! Unbelievable.
Show is cancelled after only one season. I'm really disappointed. This was IMO one of the best new shows of the year 2016 but unfortunetly didn't get as much attention as the other ones.
Really a great show and fantastic finale! Great acting from almost everybody. Good story and at times quite dark. Oh, and great music too! Highly recommended!
