It’s a decent show. More a feel good crime show where everything is wrapped in a happy bow. Plot holes are common but it’s not really the intention of the show. It’s simple. Similar to how Hudson & Rex is. I only have one complaint and that is that the intro theme is awful. Whoever wrote that jingle and approved it should never work in TV again.
Private Eyes (2016) - ❤x7 Much like the British cop shows the Canadian procedurals are slower paced and story and relationship driven - with a lot less action. These shows are an acquired taste but thoroughly enjoyable for me. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
for a Canadian based television show it's actually pretty decent. it's a little strange to see Jason Priestley and a starring role. and some of the storylines seem a little bit hard to believe that he can be a private investigator when it seems that every episode they mention that he was a famous hockey star. hard to be a private investigator if everyone knows who you are.
