> Add this show to your bucket list ! Be warned this a melodrama ; All Happy moments are a dream and all sad moments are reality. Back to back weekend ;I'm in mood for some sad dramas ; this show is similar to Scarlet Heart Ryou but in Uncontrollably fond you will not be fond of both male leads and infact most of the characters but they do have their redemption and please be open minded and not curse anybody out ; except may be the two evil ladies . Shin Joon Young is arrogant , selfish , man-child and is yet the most lovable and pitiful male lead . Its actually more heart breaking that Kim Woo Bin did this role and later had to take to break for 4 yr to get treated for cancer. We all are rooting for his comback in 2022 and also marry Sin Min Ah. No Eul is greedy , immoral and whinny girl whose moral sense is corrupted by the injustice meet-ed to her in childhood. Bae Suzy did give a good performance but would have to say sometimes i couldn't distinguish crying from laughter which begs the curiosity on how Park Shin-Hye would have fared on this role. All support character had their mark on the show and have had their own redemption and farewall arcs and in the end we have to hope they changed for good ! I have been emotional but only for few moments on other sad ending but here finished a box full of tissues on the last 2 episodes. But unlike other shows I have no regrets about the ending and we need to applaud the writers for not giving a false hope like other shows. I only regret how he they fight most of the show and fight for her justice that he didn't even rest well.. **Lets meet Again Joon Young !**

This show was SUPER melodramatic, messy and over the top, but not in a corny or cheesy way. I thought it was interesting and brave how many flaws they gave to the lead characters. Especially Jun Young. He was a horrible person. Arrogant, selfish and a bully. But damn it if it wasn't nearly impossible to hate him. He was also so pitiful and earnest that my heart broke for him at times. He made for a fantastic morally grey character. As for the acting, all the sad scenes were very well done, but it was kinda conspicuous how bad everyone was at acting angry. They all starting randomly yelling when they were supposed to be mad and I thought that was funny. The OST also had some odd choices, including an instrumental that always had me humming carol of the bells whenever it played on the show. I don't know that the show needed to be 20 episodes, it started losing steam after ep 16. Still, for an oldie drama it holds up quite well, and I for one much prefer the fashion and wardrobe choices of back then much more than the current ones.
