Babysitter is an interesting little psychological thriller drama which revolves around adultery. A young babysitter starts working for a wealthy family and it is evident from the start that she will try to seduce the husband. ➕ Positive: The soundtrack is probably what I liked the most in this drama. The cinematography is also quite nice and you can see that most of the scenes are thoughts to be sort of like photographs. I really liked the length and I wish there were more mini-series in the K-drama scene. It wasn't too cliché and the end was actually pleasantly surprising. ➖ Negative: I wasn't convinced by the acting in general, and even less by the acting of Sin Yoon-joo ; but I think it might be an issue with the acting direction, rather than the actors themselves. There are a few plot holes. It probably would have been better as a movie. Also, there is a scene where one of the characters reads something "in French". I watched it 4 times and still can't understand one single word she says and it made me laugh so hard. Would I recommend this drama? It depends. It's only 4 episodes long, so it doesn't take too much time. It definitely has an atmosphere and feels artsy, which I appreciated. But I am not sure it would be everyone's cup of tea. If you like psychological thrillers, or if you want to watch something that deals with infidelity, watch it. If not, maybe watch something else.
