Im Zentrum von „The Bastard Executioner“ steht Wilkin Brattle (Lee Jones), ein Ritter in den Diensten König Edwards I., der von den Grauen des Krieges gezeichnet ist und deshalb das Schwert für immer niederlegen will. Doch er kann der Gewalt in seinem Leben nicht entkommen und muss dieses Mal zu einer noch viel blutigeren Waffe greifen.

Interesting start. Moves fairly slowly though and there's a fair amount of exposition.
Felt the show had poor acting. The fighting didn't feel that exciting.
Unfortunately the show has been cancelled, so no more seasons
The cam is shaky, the theme song is some god-awful 21st century rock ballad, nothing about the show feels the least bit Welsh, and in general there's just nothing there that grabs my interest.
