Usagi Tsukino, eine leicht unbeholfenes, weinerliches Mädchen, im zweiten Jahr der Mittelschule, trifft eines Tages auf eine schwarze Katze mit einem Halbmondsymbol auf der Stirn und verwandelt sich in Sailor Moon, die Hüterin von Gerechtigkeit und Liebe. Schnell stellt sich heraus, dass dieses Zusammentreffen kein Zufall war und Usagi erhält – zusammen mit den anderen Wächterinnen – den Auftrag, den Illusion Silver Crystal zu finden und die Prinzessin Serenity zu beschützen. Währenddessen sendet auch Beryl, die Königin des dunklen Königreichs, ihre Lakaien aus, um den Illusion Silver Crystal zu finden. Ein Kampf um diesen unheimlich mächtigen Kristall scheint unvermeidlich.

The episodes are more true to the manga and I love the new style. new theme song is awesome too. new dub episodes started a few weeks ago on Viz media streaming service. The same company is also re-dubbing the old series with the same voice actors. I'm so happy I get to relive Sailor Moon all over again!

The status of this show is incorrect, it says it has ended but there will be a 2nd Arc coming up this year. "On September 28, 2015, a new season of Sailor Moon Crystal has been confirmed for the third arc (Infinity Arc). In November 2015, Viz Media will be streaming the Sailor Moon Crystal English dub on Neon Alley and Hulu." according to the wikipedia. The show will continue with the Infinity arc bringing in the Outer Senshi's.
