This show is a masterpiece. Something we needed for all the horrible shows being released lately.
2nd season is really bad compare to the first one
It's one these very few TV Series that if you haven't watched yet, you are just waiting way too long. I think that with a very few others, it most probably deserves a rating scale of its own, staying on the conservative side, I will give it 12 over 10. You may or may not like the underlying story but in and by itself its only released season (1st) yet is a masterpiece of "cinema/tv", much like the Soprano's, Breaking Bad, Band of Brothers and a few others have been before. The way the story is told and the characters are developed are for sure posed to change how story telling is approached on TV. Even if you only are technically curious about to where quality TV Series will be moving in script writing, acting and directing, this 1st season is a must watch. But if you're anything like most of us, you will also greatly enjoy it from a pure viewer perspective.
Some seasons are better than others but every one has a few wtf moments not to be missed lol love it
S01: Still plays great. Lots of throwbacks to the original movie. Great actors playing great characters. One of Thortons best roles. Very few nitpicks with the plot lines. Everything moved along nicely. The ending felt a bit off to start but got right back into the groove to end strong. S02: Still plays great. once again a great cast like Milioti and Dunst. Both those characters live on my street today yet! Racks up the body count and then finishes it off with the Minnesota nice ending... S03: A decent season but it just misses the mark on a number of areas. Great cast/characters but i just didn't believe McGregor was from Minnesota and then to have him doing 2 roles to boot. Coon and Winstead were awesome. Whigham's role was just a rehash of Odenkrick's role from season 1 which were weak characters. too many unrealistic plot points just rolled by. An east German villain? hmmm...And for the record, we rarely watch the gophers in the morning! S04: Not from Fargo at all. If you know that going in you should be good. it is actually a decent tale about the 50s mob activities. Some good characters and it mostly rolled along fairly smooth. Not really a fan of Schwartzman so that role could of been better. S05: Great cast and story. Fits very well into the world of 'fargo'. Hard to believe but you know it is all true.
