Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott ist Anführer einer Anti-Terroreinheit, die versehentlich einen unschuldigen Familienvater tötet. Arnott will sich an der folgenden Vertuschungsaktion nicht beteiligen und lässt sich zur Anti-Korruptionseinheit AC-12 versetzen, die vom Nordirland-Veteranen Ted Hastings angeführt wird. Im Visier hat Hastings vor allem den überaus beliebten Detective Chief Inspector Tony Gates, der gerade zum 'Officer des Jahres' gewählt wurde.

WOW!! Just... wow. This show is by far the BEST show on Tv. I can't belive they can jam so much information into one episode. Almost every episode ends with a major cliff-hanger and sometimes even a "didn't see that coming!!" Season 3 was a complete mind-bender.. They've just anounced that there's going to be a season 5 - can't wait and I haven't even seen season 4 yet. 12/10
Simply the best police procedural ever made. Superbly acted, memorable characters and delicious, twising plots.
Cannot believe it's taken me until 2021 to hear of this show, let alone watch it. Absolutely fantastic show. Don't even contemplate watching it, just watch. Acting and script are beyond amazing - phenomenal. I'm only allowed to watch this when the wife is home so as she can also watch it, which slows down my progress. Any lawyers specializing in divorce please send me a message.
One of the best British tv shows ever...fast paced, intelligent and quality acting!
