Not the best ending. Once Ritter was gone, it settles into a safe by the numbers show. Decent show though...
I remember this show from the time when it originally aired. Pretty sure this is how Penny started her career. 😁
8 Simple Rules... should have gotten a 4th and final season to reach 100 episodes
It's OK. Much as I liked John Ritter's comic acting, unfortunately more of _8 Simple Rules_ was produced without him than with. In that very sitcom-like way, the characters seem to change without changing. They'll change jobs, change schools, but still return to the same established rivalries. Plus [spoiler]the show was abruptly canceled on a relationship cliffhanger[/spoiler], so that really soured the final season.
