Photon Earth ist ein junger und sanftmütiger Junge mit übermenschlichen Kräften. Auf seiner Stirn steht das Wort »Baka«, was im japanischen soviel wie »Idiot« bedeutet. Verpasst hat ihm diese Aufschrift seine Freundin, Aun Freya. Nachdem er einer Rebellin namens Keyne Aqua das Wort »Baka«, das auch er auf der Stirn hat, aufmalt, fühlt er sich ihr gegenüber verpflichtet, weswegen die beiden von da an gemeinsam unterwegs sind. Dies ist allerdings seine geringste Sorge, denn er muss seine beiden Freundinnen, Aun und Keyne, vor Papacharino, einem Mann, der die Geheimnisse von »Aho«, ein weiteres Wort, das für »Idiot« steht, stehlen will. Die Aho-Energie wurde von Gene Aqua, Keynes Großvater, entwickelt.

Interesting, and probably wood have rates better in 90s than now. Meh/no character development, infrequent boobies, and very interesting world building (mostly unexplored).
(from my old collection of anime reviews circa 2003) Sci-fi fantasy comedy. In the far future, the young and fetching adventuress Keyne is chased by ambitious perverted Prince Papacha (cue the fan service). Forced to ditch onto a primitive planet, she is rescued by Photon, a strange little silly boy, and together with his hyper and uncooperative older protege, the pink-haired girl Aun, proceed with the silliness. This series has good sense of energy which, although not quite sustained throughout, is definitely entertaining. It has nice fluid animation, considering the time it was made, and some goofy character designs. Although the humour isn't high-brow stuff, it's good silly fun.
